General description
3-isobutyl-1-methylxanthine/IBMX is a nonselective inhibitor.IBMX can induce melanogenesis. Hence, it is considered as a positive control in melanogenesis studies.

Biochem/physiol Actions
cAMP和cGMP磷酸二酯酶的非特異性抑制劑。由IBMX對(duì)磷酸二酯酶的抑制而引起的cAMP水平的增加可激活PKA,而引起增殖減少、分化增加并誘導(dǎo)細(xì)胞凋亡。 IBMX可抑制苯腎上腺素誘導(dǎo)的氣道粘膜神經(jīng)內(nèi) 分 泌上皮細(xì)胞5-羥色胺釋放。(IC50:1.3 μM)。還可作為一種腺苷受體拮抗劑。 已顯示出對(duì)神經(jīng)肌肉接頭、GH3細(xì)胞和血管平滑肌細(xì)胞中離子通道的抑制。誘導(dǎo)感覺(jué)神經(jīng)元中儲(chǔ)存在細(xì)胞內(nèi)的鈣的釋放。
